People Development Strategy

This project is building a People Development Strategy to guide future investment in building capacity and capability within the vegetable, potato, onion, and banana industries. Attracting, developing, and retaining skilled staff can be challenging within the horticulture sector. While there has been investment into various training and leadership initiatives, a coordinated Strategy will focus efforts and funds in this area. The project team will consult extensively across the vegetable, potato, onion, and banana industries to develop the Strategy and draw on relevant existing leadership, capacity building and career pathway projects to minimise replication and maximise the value of current efforts.
