PARABOSS PHASE III

ParaBoss, which commenced in 2013, is the national resource for sheep and goat parasite control in Australia, providing information on the major parasites of worms, blowflies, lice, through its suite of products. The products are a source of detailed information and regional programs developed to improve on-farm parasite management. With the inclusion of ticks from 1 July 2021, ParaBoss will also be a national parasite information and management tool for Australian cattle producers. Deliverables include: ParaBoss website, ParaBoss News (emailed); a ParaBoss Facebook pages; development of “off-line” tools, a national training process to up-skill trainers, advisors, service providers and producers and a WEC QA program for laboratories. ParaBoss Phase III will be delivered by Animal Health Australia and the University of New England (UNE) and overseen by a project and technical committee.
