Optimising rumen modifier use for feedlots

A key component in improving feedlot production efficiency is to improve the efficiency of converting feed to gain by optimising rumen fermentation. This project will confirm and quantify feeding, growth and carcase advantages from combining and rotating different antibiotics(ionophore Monensin) and asses the underlying rumen fermentation differences and rumination changes associated with these responses.
