Objective real-time assessment of Bos taurus cattle to improve profitability and productivity of the beef value chain

This project will help address cattle non-compliance with processor grid specifications by delivering a validated, on-farm portable 3Dcamera technology. The camera will be integrated with Beef Specs and target pure Angus, Hereford and Shorthorn breeds to objectively assess P8 fat, muscle score, frame score and body condition score at different stages of growth on live cattle.
