NLIS Interface Development for SMEs

Carey Bros. could previously download and NLIS computer interface which was downloadable from the NLIS website. This download is apparently no longer available. Carey Bros (CB) is still using the app from the last downloaded file on a current computer, however, once this computer fails or is upgraded, then CB will not have the required NLIS interface that is applicable for their business size. As a consequence, CB is forced to look at options. Having reviewed abattoir specific software namely Triton and Cedar Creek, with the cost approx. $100k plus monthly maintenance, CB has ascertained that there is no cost-effective SME alternative currently available on the market. This project will engage an IT company for the required development of the interfacing software solution between CB, NLIS and the supply chain that is required to be engaged for the CB business.
