NCCP: Building community support for carp control: understanding community and stakeholder attitudes and assessing social effects

This project undertook a comprehensive assessment of community attitudes to and more broadly the potential social impacts (positive and negative) of potential carp control measures, including the proposed release of the carp herpes virus and other measures. This in turn will inform development of strategies for mitigating negative impacts and enhancing positive outcomes. The project will inform development of effective communication that builds a shared understanding of proposed carp control measures and their likely outcomes.
