Mushroom education resources

This short project is developing two mushroom-focused teaching resources that will encourage secondary school students to have a greater understanding and interest in the mushroom industry. The project team are creating resources to meet the food and fibre components of the Australian curriculum and assist teachers who have never taught content about mushrooms to feel confident and capable of encouraging learning about the mushroom industry. The overall goal is to increase interest in the mushroom industry and supply chain and encourage students to explore career pathways in the horticulture sector.
