Multifuel Biomass Boiler Pilot

AMPC will conduct a global tech-scan and invest in a portable multi-fuel biomass boiler pilot to help create certainty and confidence for members when considering the shift to renewable solid fuels. This will assist members to make more informed decisions around the costs and benefits of adopting biomass boilers. This shift may also provide opportunities for members to engage in a circular economy approach to energy through: sustainable disposal of paunch, more economic utilisation of adjacent agricultural wastes for use as fuel, and the potential for creation of ACCUs or state-based certificates.
