Methane emissions of Australian feedlot

This project will evaluate the opportunity to suppress methane in feedlot cattle through inclusion of 3-Nitrooxypronal (Bovaer, DSM, Holland) in the diet. Additionally this will provide Australian data to develop an emissions fund methodology (ERF) methodology, as well as evaluate the current baseline methane prediction equations for feedlot cattle in the Australian Government greenhouse gas accounting framework.
