Maternal Mothering Up

This investment aims to use proximity data from on-animal sensors (AWI SMART Tags) to generate an algorithm for maternal ewe/lamb matches. The project will investigate the optimum time for tag deployment on lambs, the length of time for deployment and the accuracy of the algorithm in comparison to DNA-based parentage tests.
