Managing Welfare and Production at Weaning site

This project will investigate the use of analgesics at the time of castration and/or dehorning, to determine any resulting impacts on welfare and production outcomes in beef cattle. Results from the pilot study will then inform a Producer Demonstration Site involving six Northern Territory properties.
