Managing the Energy Trilemma for the red meat processor sectors single largest energy task – refrigeration (stage 1)

This stage 1 project will design a case study for smart management of clean, affordable, and reliable electricity. The management system design will include; time of use emissions and cost benefits, network reliability signals, and flexibility of management using thermal storage for load shifting and peak shaving. A later second stage project will apply the design to an on-site demonstration and bring an industry first time resilience building case study for future climate change impacts in the electricity grid.
