Maintenance of O. Vacca Beetles (Dung Beetles)

Meat & Livestock Australia has reached agreement with Invetus to maintain the O. vacca beetles in Armidale until 31 October 2018, when all remaining beetles will be translocated to Charles Sturt University (CSU) in preparation for the successful Dung Beetle RRDfP project. This provides the best survival chance for the beetles and will maximise the number for distribution and continued mass rearing at CSU. This is essential to comply with the Commonwealth agreement.
