Know Your Carbon Number (KYCN)

The initiative supports accelerating farmers’ understanding of their carbon footprint and identifying immediate actions to reduce emissions. It seeks external funding, incentives, and support to help farmers know their carbon number, while positioning the ADCC as the preferred tool for dairy farmers and supply chain partners, ensuring future enhancements meet their needs. This approach enables the industry to begin the “Know Your Carbon Number” journey using current tools, while preparing for a smooth transition to improved versions, and establishes emissions reduction program planning to achieve industry targets.
