JBS Longford Food Safety Data Tracking System Evaluation and Evolution (Biomap)

At a high level, the project will: 1. Map out all of the current and estimated future food safety data points that are collected by Longford. 2. Evolve the tool to have all of the required fields for these data points 3. Evolve the tool to have suitable red meat processing data screens (for user to interact suitably) 4. Ingest (manually and automatically) 12 months worth of data to test (2) and (3) above and evolve further as required. The data sources will be both internal and external (ie. Being emailed in PDF from external laboratories) 5. Generate reports from (4) that are useful for internal and external use, and evolve from end reader/user feedback. 6. Continue to use and evolve the system over a three year period. a. During years 2 and 3, assuming year one progresses well, JBS will be working with the vendor to also ingest key processing data points from the JBS PLC/SCADA system, such as chiller temperatures, room cleaning validation signoffs. b. JBS will also investigate the benefits of the system ingesting producer PIC data and evisceration table hygiene data, With both (a) and (b) enabling the vendor and JBS to ascertain if this additional data can be used as a predictor of food safety alerts.
