Influencing SBTi

This project will engage the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in a two-phase strategy to improve recognition and guidance for methane’s distinct warming profile, using split-gas-aligned modeling and outreach via trusted intermediaries. In phase two, it will broaden the work through science and policy channels with industry partners, including research to show modest methane cuts in leather and wool outperform synthetic substitution for warming reduction, and a pilot of the SBTN Framework to assess impacts on animal-fibre supply chains.
