Improving diagnostics and biosecurity for graft-transmissible diseases in citrus

The objectives of this project are to strengthen the Australian citrus industry’s biosecurity against graft transmissible pathogens. This project will focus on improving detection and diagnostics of graft-transmissible viruses, viroids and plasma bacteria, gaining a better understanding of the range and risk of endemic and new graft-transmissible pathogens and incorporating these findings into a biosecurity plan for the industry. The project also responds to industry requests for diagnostic support.
