Identifying Revenue Opportunities for AgriFutures Rural Industries
The project is to develop a Research Report for the targeted rural industries, including 13 levied sectors and 15 emerging sectors, identified by Agriutures. The Research Report will formulate new industry revenue streams as well as enhance one or more of the following:
- understanding of industry supply chain and value-adding processes.
- intellectual property exploitation and commercialisation.
- investment attraction.
In addition to the local commercial producers, the report will be constructed with inputs from various stakeholders along the value chain of the target commodities, including Indigenous communities (where applicable), key research institutions, agri-businesses, industry associations, and governments. The report will aid AgriFutures’ work in the future to address specific revenue growth opportunities.
The report will also detail how the identified revenue streams could be implemented and disseminated to a broader range of stakeholders, as well as how they could be monitored, assessed, and reported to ensure that it reacts to changing needs as the industry evolves.
