Hardwicks Pelt removal Trial

Hardwicks Meats, a new subsidiary of Kilcoy Pastoral Company Australia, have an investment in year 21/22 of $14 mil, to upgrade premises to a bare minimum standard, to keep the plant going. A spend of $40 mil in budgeted for 23/24, where line speed and efficiency and quality will be the focus, reducing the manual labor used in removing sheep and lamb pelts. KPC engineers have developed in conjunction with a steel manufacturer a new look minimal space Sock Puller, designed to pelt 600 units per hour, KPC would like to test the unit, modifying the system to suite multiple sites. before investing in 3-4 units, the simple unit has a major impact on staff welfare, reduction in numbers, diverting staff to more key locations without employing more staff, injuries, and increasing line speed and quality.
