Grassroots Grant: On farm evaluation of the IoT technologies

This investment supports on-farm demonstration of IoT (internet of things) sensor technology and transmission of sensor output data via low power, long range (LoRaWAN) network primarily in the area of water monitoring and control during the cotton crop growth period. This investment will focus on integrating current technology to enable live feedback on water flow from pumps and in channels to improve monitoring and scheduling and maximise water use efficiency.
