Goat industry data collation and tracking - Phase 2

A critical requirement for a viable, long-term goat industry is accurate and reliable data on supply. This project will implement processes to improve, collate, track and report existing and new data. These processes will increase goat industry access to, and reliability of, data for supply and market forecasting. For regions important to the export industry, the project will quantify the number of goats managed, unmanaged and marketed annually. It will model population changes and the sustainability of supply under different harvesting rates. In summary this project seeks to generate reliable information to improve industry’s ability to forecast supply. This project is phase 2, following on from B.GOA.0123
