Global Sustainable Development Goals – Australian agriculture’s story

This project will provide a summary report showing the need and benefits for Australian agriculture to monitor and report progress towards, and impact on achieving, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will: (i) assess the extent to which Australian agriculture is currently monitoring and reporting against the SDGs; (ii) Identify global best practice and use cases of reporting against the SDGs; (iii) Ensure Australian agriculture’s competitiveness and sustainability to enable longevity across the industry; (iv) Inform how Australian agriculture could consider monitoring and reporting against the SDGs; and (v) explain the benefit and return including options for reporting.
