The Future of MeatTech’ Professional Processing Careers 2026
With the acceleration of the adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as mixed reality, shadow robotics, CT imaging
and other advanced subsurface sensing there is a growing disconnect between the current and the required skills that are within the workforce of the red meat processing industry.
This project seeks to develop a bespoke red meat technology-focused program to act as a talent pipeline for young students with tech-skills delivered across Australia. Led by technology education specialists in collaboration with industry, universities/TAFEs and technology companies, this engagement project will provide a high engagement program to attract young, skilled tech-skilled labour.
This project will build on the learnings and success of the MeatTech Stem camps held in 2024/25
