Projects
From Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) study to Development Framework. Formalising the adoption of a Bio-Resource Recovery Facility
This adoption project will complete the development framework for a proposed Bioresource Recovery Facility (BioHub). This project will help facilitate adoption of an industry first BioHub, and will build upon specific prior AMPC R&D (e.g. FEED study) and create a relevant framework for final investment decision.
The framework will enable commencement of authorities applications, stakeholder agreements, agreed business case/s, and the creation of development processes, tasks, strategies, and tools that will guide the Project Control Group (PCG) on community engagement & acceptance, planning compliance & approval, development and project management, governance & risk procedures, design & construct agreement, and completion terms.
Industry Perspective
From an industry R&D perspective, this project helps close the loop on the following essential research question around BioHubs;
• what are the most appropriate tools and technical solutions to help guide this specialised development,
• how will the Project Control Group (PCG) ensure the optimization of a large array of interoperable processes, not attempted for concurrent integration in our sector previously,
• what are the asset owners ideal development size and capital scale for the BioHub,
• what compliance and quality levels will the independent professional consultants nominate in-order-to achieve most productive output values,
• how are the ideal end-markets, selected, negotiated with, and what format is to be supplied by the BioHub product outputs.
