Feedlot Industry Training Course Development – Feed Truck Module

MLA and ALFA are collaboratively executing a Feedlot Career Development and Training pathway. ALFA has identified that training in “Feed mill operation and cattle feeding” is a high priority. Feed mills have high staff turnover that produces costs through re-training and productivity losses by new staff whilst they reach a competency level. This project will develop a module on Feed Truck operation as a case example to test feedlot engagement and impact from training. This will contribute towards the Feed mill operation and Cattle Feeding course in Sub Project 3 – Development of Core Feedlot Training materials for the Feedlot Career Development and Training pathway.
