Evaluation of AGV for pen cleaning (and process cleaning)

This project is proposing to obtain, modify, adapt, and evaluate an AGV (from one of two vendors) currently used for cleaning milking sheds, to ascertain if it can be adapted for an ‘under pen’ solution to reduce noise, odour, water use, and safety risks in one of the most un-pleasant locations to work in a large "small-stock" plant. As part of this trial and development, JBS will also evaluate the units capability in a range of production settings (i.e. inside the processing facility) and other services locations (such as rendering, hide/skin sheds and cold stores).
