Econoliser knife sanitiser unit - Industry extension

In September 2024, AMPC released a public report titled “The Econoliser – Industry Trial and Techno-Economic Tool,” which demonstrated that the Econoliser Knife Steriliser Unit (KSU) as a suitable alternative to constant flow KSUs which consume unreasonable quantities of water (3 to 7 L/min) by design. The trial validated over 90% in energy & water savings are possible for replacement of constant flow KSU's with the Econoliser. This project provides; industry extension with intensive support for further awareness of the new nationally approved equipment protocol for this unit, member familiarisation, and support for the establishment of a reliable supply chain for this technology in Australia, The project seeks to progress the step change in industry water efficiency.
