Disease surveillance and related diagnostics for the Australian grains industry (within the Northern region)
This project is part of a national disease surveillance program to monitor the changes in pathogen populations for cereals and pulses including their incidence and severity in association with changes in farming practice and other factors (such as climatic trends) that informs industry of disease risks and assists in identifying RD&E investment priorities for cereals and pulses across grain growing regions in Queensland and northern New South Wales. This work will also contribute to demonstrating pest area freedom to meet market requirements.
