Development of App for beef carcase grading by camera technologies

This project will enable beef grading to be conducted by Industry endorsed objective camera technologies and interface with existing MLA systems. There are several objective camera technologies that are nearing the end of their research phase and will be seeking Industry endorsement for commercial use throughout 2021. There is an opportunity for MLA through the development of this App to support MSA grading, Ausmeat chiller assessment and animal health data capture and reporting all to MLA aiding in delivering broader MLA/ISC goals.
