Development of a National Beef Genotyping

This project will develop an industry research strategy for genotyping cattle across the nation. The strategy will be produced in view of the best animals to genomic test to ensure that there is reliability in the genetics tools available, as well as maintain and build the necessary reference populations for Australian beef.
