Projects
Development and implementation of forest health and biosecurity systems and protocols based on quantitative pest risk and economic impact assessment
This project will document and develop an understanding of the potential for pests to spread under a range of introduction scenarios. The introduction of these pests may have negative economic impacts on growers, processors and the broader economy. This information will assist industry and policy makers in developing and implementing evidence based enhanced surveillance and monitoring protocols and understand the economic impacts to the plantation including profitability, control costs and loss of markets.
