DataConnect Expansion

This project aims to accelerate Dairy Australia’s investment in DataGene through matching pass-through funds to support DataConnect, an initiative designed to overcome challenges farmers face in exchanging and integrating data by linking farm data to the Central Data Repository (CDR). Connecting data to the CDR enables farmers to make informed, data-driven decisions with access to industry reports such as Fertility and Mastitis Focus Reports and applications like the upcoming Mastitis App (2025). Additionally, the HerdData App allows farmers to record events cowside and seamlessly transfer data to industry and farm databases, creating a streamlined, integrated data ecosystem for improved farm management.
