The objective of this project is to support sustainable growth in pasture-based dairy regions of Australia where there is a high reliance on synthetic nitrogen fertiliser to optimise the home grown feedbase. The project aims to improve milk production efficiency from low-cost grazed pasture systems while reducing risks associated with synthetic nitrogen use, NRDC and people and skills.
