CottonInfo Field Demonstration Trial: Soil health workshops - Upper Lachlan and Upper Namoi
The principal outcome of the CottonInfo program is to provide an efficient and effective pathway for the delivery of the results of research and development and innovation more broadly to industry. The CottonInfo program is designed to deliver the information needs of growers where commercial provision of information is not currently viable and includes activities that support efforts to improve practices, productivity, competitiveness and environmental performance. This investment supports the delivery of the CottonInfo program in the field of soil health through the provision of targeted workshops. The workshops utilised on-farm soil pits and researcher expertise to built upon knowledge about constrained root growth below 60cm and the impact of soil and sub-soil health for productive plant growth.
