Cost effective and practical way to regenerate layer hen ranges

The aim of the project is to address the problem of cost effective range regeneration. There is a need to integrate work on range enrichment and current work on resilient plantings with knowledge of environmental management with new information on practical experiences obtained from industry surveys, consultation and case studies. The expected outcomes of the project are to provide farmers with tools and examples of how to increase vegetation cover on free range farms and increase the number of free range producers actively regenerating their ranges and/or using practices that minimise the need for range regeneration
