Community Perceptions and Worker Experiences Research Program - Update

AgriFutures is seeking to enhance workforce insights by addressing data gaps and refining understanding of employment patterns across regional and remote areas.

 

This project will refresh and enhance the Community Perceptions and Worker Experience dataset, originally collected in 2022. It will incorporate both qualitative and quantitative methods to ensure a comprehensive understanding of workforce dynamics across regional and remote areas.

 

The updated study will include options for both panel-based and open call (census-style) surveys, with an emphasis on filling identified data gaps. Specifically, it will refine workforce insights by incorporating detailed demographic breakdowns (age, gender, skill levels, employment patterns) and sector-specific workforce differentiation across agricultural subsectors (e.g., livestock, cropping, horticulture).

 

This project is structured to support ongoing internal workforce related pathways and discussions within AgriFutures as a structured three-year program of work.
