Climate resilient wild catch fisheries

The Climate Resilient Wild Catch Fisheries project aims to address the challenges posed by climate change in the seafood industry and enable identification of priority alternativ fuels that, if adopted, will contribute to improved climate resilience by 2030. By increasing industry awareness, validating sustainable practices, fostering industry collaboration, and translating research into usable resources, the project seeks to activate broad transformation and meet consumer expectations regarding climate action. Specifically, the project focuses on propulsion and fuel challenges in wild catch fisheries to reduce carbon emissions. Through engagement with industry leaders, validation of viable solutions, and demonstration of progress, the project aims to build partnerships and enable the advancement of climate-resilient practices in the seafood industry.
