Climate Change Adaptation for Dairy Farmers

This project addresses low farmer awareness and capability to manage climate-related risks by providing actionable information to support productivity challenges, in line with the Climate Domain Strategy. Building on the Climate Change Adaptation National Framework completed in October 2024, which outlines likely challenges for dairy businesses into the 2050s, the project will develop detailed, nationally consistent yet regionally specific extension programs to help mitigate risks, maintain or improve productivity, and support systems change where appropriate.
