Cattle Heat Load Toolbox 2019 to 2021

The Australian Lot Feeders’ Association (ALFA) has requested the ongoing operational aspects of the heat load forecast service delivery trialling be funded from the grain fed marketing levy. This project covers the operating costs of the CHLT service for 2019to 2021, which includes daily operation of the service, including issuing alerts, plus HLDN data acquisition, quality assurance and integration into the forecasts. It will also implement some upgrades to replace obsolete software and improve functionality of the service, funded from grain fed R&D levies.
