Carcase Cut Calculator & Optimiser Tool (Lamb) - Site Evaluations

The Lamb Value Calculator (LVC) and Carcase Optimisation tools have been developed to allow lean meat yield (LMY%) data to inform decisions down the supply chain - allowing processors to use improved LMY% data to predict the value of their lamb carcases and understand how the carcases are best processed for maximal profit. This project will support processors to begin using the LVC and carcase optimisation tools, tailoring scenarios to their specific businesses and producing outputs that provide valuable insights into capturing the maximum value of the lamb carcases that they have processed.
