Projects
Carbon tax at border for Australian agriculture
This project will include:
- Provide a sound methodology for evaluating the implications and effects of prospective policy responses and market strategies, ensuring that all recommendations are backed by evidence.
- Draw on the perspectives of key stakeholders to ensure assessment and analysis is grounded in primary evidence and that stakeholders are engaged in the research.
- Deliver the critical insights needed to effectively communicate how Australian agriculture is already accounting for carbon emissions, and equip producers to develop tailored, economically-rigorous narratives to underpin their carbon credentials.
- Enable more detailed economic modelling of potential economic impacts of carbon pricing arrangements.
