Building capacity in irradiation

Although phytosanitary irradiation has been practised in Australia and overseas for over 30 years, there remains substantial gaps in our knowledge of phytosanitary irradiation that must be addressed before access to new export markets can be achieved. This project is designed to deliver foundational knowledge to industry, government and our trading partners, but will also provide insight and direction for future research and development activities relating to phytosanitary irradiation.
