Automated bunk management – ACC trial

Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) and Manabotix have commercialised alidar-based bunk scanner (Australian Patent number: 2018203945) which is more precise and accurate at determining feed remaining in cattle feed bunks than human callers. Australian Country Choice (ACC) will host a trial site (Opal Creek Feedlot) to determine the value proposition of the Scanner over a 1-year period.
