Australlian citrus breeding program

This new investment is focussed on developing varieties for Australian citrus growers. By building on existing knowledge and a pipeline of genetics, new germplasm will be created with superior product quality, innovative tree architecture to enable harvest automation opportunities, disease resistence including for Huanglongbing and superior production. These new varieties will be evaluated in commercial orchards.
