Australian egg layer disease benchmarking survey

This project aims to assist in better understanding of the levels and incidence of layer disease in the Australia. A collection of anonymised layer disease data from industry veterinarians, state departments and testing laboratories will be collected. Researchers will examine the data to understand the disease burden of the national flock over the last five years, to summarise which diseases exist and their significance. With this insight Australian Eggs will be able to better direct research spending on layer diseases to best effect.
