Australian Beef Sustainability Framework - Steering Group

The Australian Beef Sustainability Framework (ABSF) Steering Group (SG) is established by the Australian Beef Sustainability Framework Advisory Board with relevant research, development and adoption (RDA) activities funded by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and Australian Meat Processors Corporation (AMPC). The SG is accountable to ABSF Advisory Board comprising representatives of the peak industry bodies (PIB): Cattle Australia (CA), Australian Lot Feeders’ Association (ALFA) and Australian Meat Industry Council (AMIC). The SG acts in an advisory capacity in accordance with agreed terms of reference. MLA and AMPC fund the costs of activities carried out by the SG, and any related reporting, communications and marketing.
