Antimicrobial usage - development of data collection and metrics for beef

Antimicrobial usage (AMU) is an important aspect of the international campaign to minimise and control antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in human and domestic animal pathogens. This project will build on previous experience of measuring AMU (MyFarmAMU), and aims to capture representative antimicrobial usage (AMU) data from four beef raising systems (veal, dairy, grass and grain) and express the data using metrics that will be useful for management and customer audiences.
