Antimicrobial Sensitivity Testing – a survey of laboratory capacity

"This project will establish the capacity of laboratories used by the chicken meat industry in key areas linked to antimicrobial sensitivity testing. The capacities to be surveyed will include:
 A) the ability to isolate and identify key bacteria (pathogens and commensals);
 B) the capacity to perform standardized antimicrobial susceptibility testing;
 C) any planned upgrade to those capacities. 
 
 The project will provide a clear picture of the current capacities and any planned increased capacities to perform routine antimicrobial sensitivity testing."
