Alternative protein- rich feeds

Through desktop review and industry consultation, this project will identify suitable protein rich feed ingredients to include in Australian pig and layer diets. This information could assist the egg and pork industries in moving away from a reliance on soy-based feeds. The project will focusing on protein sources which are available in Australia, economical and will not compromise the growth or performance of pigs and layers.
