A review of Maternal Dystocia Nutrition

This project aims to review literature to assess and interpret the physiological, behavioural, hormonal and biochemical changes associated with maternal dystocia in sheep. It will also estimate the economic impact of dystocia and identify risk factors and opportunities to mitigate dystocia in sheep to inform future R&D priorities.
